God wants to be a part of our ever day life. He loves it when his creation includes him in every aspect of their lives and when they follow his prescribe plan or will for their lives.
One of the reasons why David and other kings who were faithful to God could be as successful as they were, for example David was able to win all his battles, was because they trusted in God and allowed Him to be their guide.
Each one of us can be successful, we can live a fulfilling life, but we must allow God to be our guide, allow him to lead us. Why should we allow God to direct our steps? Because we do not always know or able to see the pitfalls of our own actions. That is why the Bible says “it is not for them to direct their steps.” (Jeremiah 10:23) Many times I sought to do my own thing and failed miserable, however, when I sought the direction of God my path is always bless, I experienced less problems, less sadness, less headace and more joy and peace and his blessings and approval.
