I've been attending Sunday School classes for a while now, and recently we studied the New Testament book of Matthew. One passage that caught my attention was Matthew 28:19, but I'm having trouble understanding its context. I know that Matthew is one of the four Gospels, and it tells the story of Jesus' life, teachings, and ministry. In this verse, Jesus is speaking to his disciples after his resurrection, but I'm not sure what specific event or situation led to this statement.
